الملخص

Summary of the study: The study aimed to investigate the nature of the relationship between Metacognition skills and Learning motivation among a sample consisted of (162) pupils at the midlle school stage, and by the application of the Metacognition skills scale set up by Mohammed Abdelfatah Shaheen & Adel Atiah Ryan (2011) and the Learning motivation scale set up by Ahmad Douga and others (2007) , and after the statistical analysis of the results. The latter showed the following: -The existence of the correlation between planning skill and Learning motivation among the middle school pupils. -The existence of the correlation between controlling skill and Learning motivation among the middle school pupils . -The existence of the correlation between evaluating skill and Learning motivation among the middle school pupils. -The existence of the correlation between Metacognition skills and Learning motivation among the middle school pupils. The results were interpreted in light of the out come of the psychological heritage and previous studies , and Finally the study was culminated in a set of recommendations and proposals.
