الملخص
الملخص هذه الدراسة تحاول البرهنة على أن الموالي والعجم كانت لهم مشاركة فاعلة في بعض وظائف الدولة الأموية الحساسة كالحُجاب والحُراس والكُتاب والخاتم.وأن ما قيل بأن هناك تهميشا وإقصاء وحجرا وظيفيا عليهم،لاحتقار وتعالي بني أمية والحذر منهم، لا أساس له من الصحة،لأن الدراسة التاريخية تثبت أنهم وصلوا إلى مناصب هامة ومتنوعة في الدولة الأموية، وأنهم كانوا مقربين لا مبعدين،وحظوا بمكانة كبيرة لدى خلفائها، وأولوهم ثقة لم يسبق أن أعطوها لأناس من العرب. Summary This study will attempt to demonstrate that Mawali and non-Arabs were active and were appointed to certain sensitive positions in the Umayyad state such as janitors, guards, secretaries and the Minister of Justice. And as for what it was said that they were supposedly marginalized, excluded or banned from holding certain positions because of their arrogance and because of the contempt and distrust that had the Umayyads towards them, was totally unfounded because historical research reports that they have managed to occupy important and various positions within the state of Umayyads, and they were close, not apart, also; they enjoyed great prestige among the successors caliphs, and gave them a confidence such that even the Arabs had enjoyed.
