This scientific study explores the cultural image of Algeria as portrayed in documentaries aired by Al Jazeera Documentary Channel. Recognizing that documentaries aim to authentically represent reality through visuals and sound, this research falls under descriptive studies. We utilized the descriptive-analytical method with observation and content analysis tools, focusing on two documentaries, "The Shawia Film" and "The Tuareg Film," to examine content related to Algerian cultural heritage. Notably, these documentaries effectively conveyed a positive, authentic, and realistic image of Algeria's diverse customs, traditions, and cultural heritage. They also showcased various arts, including traditional songs and local music, highlighting the unique cultural aspects of these regions.
