This study aims to identify and determine the most critical factors that can affect entrepreneurial intention among students at Algerian universities. To answer the research question, an empirical basis is formed by a survey conducted among university students to explore the prospective career paths and personal characteristics of 93 students from different disciplines and clarify which elements play the most influential role in shaping the personal decision to start a firm. Results indicate that Entrepreneurial knowledge and self-efficacy are the most significant factors explaining entrepreneurial intentions. However, the study found that social norms and Access to capital cannot explain entrepreneurial behavior and intentions among university students.
