مهنة المؤرّخ في عصر الثورة التكنولوجية والرقمنة والذكاء الاصطناعي

الملخص
تعتبر مهنة المؤّرخ من أشقّ المهن في مجال البحوث العلمية، خاصة إذا اصطدم بشحّ في مصادر المعرفة التاريخية، أو بعقبات في سبيل الوصول إليها، وفي ظلّ التحوّلات التي تشهدها البشرية في الفترة الحديثة والمعاصرة، والتي اتّسمت بغزارة الإنتاج الفكري والثورة العلمية الرقمية. يهدف المقال إلى بحث تأثير التكنولوجيا على مهنة المؤرّخ، ومعرفة المزايا التي توفّرها الرقمنة للباحث في التاريخ؛ ومنها الإتاحة الإلكترونية للمصادر التاريخية بمختلف أشكالها؛ وبيان دورها في تيسير الوصول إلى مصادر المعلومات، كما يُناقش إمكانية توظيف التقنيات الحديثة لمواجهة ظاهرة السرقة العلمية والانتحال في ميدان الدراسات التاريخية، ويفتح المجال لبحث التأثيرات المُحتملة في المُستقبل المنظور للذكاء الاصطناعي على مهنة المؤرّخ إيجابًا وسلبًا. The profession of historians is one of the most difficult professions in the field of scientific research, especially if it collides with limited sources, or obstacles to access them. The article aims to examine the effects of the technological revolution on the profession of the historian, and to review the advantages provided by the digital to the researcher in history, including the electronic availability of historical sources, and to explain their role in facilitating the access to information sources. The article also discusses the possibility of using modern technologies to confront the phenomenon of scientific theft and plagiarism in the field of historical works, and opens a window to talk about the potential effects in the foreseeable future of artificial intelligence on the profession of the historian, positively and negatively.
