Abstract

This research focuses on the role of SME managers regarding the management of their company’s affairs. Emphasis is placed above all on its role and contribution during the process of acquisition and development of resources, as well as the management of external affairs. As a result, it appeared that the role of the manager varies according to the size of the company and its activity because smaller is the company, the more the manager is very present and masters the management of the company well, however more the company is large, the more he delegates his responsibilities to the various managers who hold positions within the company. The presence of relatives and social networks is very strong among many businessman, which facilitates the daily management of their business and strengthens the social bonds between them
