الملخص
لم يتوغل الرومان تماما حتى بلاد الصين , إلا ان سياستهم التوسعية قادت الإمبراطور سيبتميوس سيفيروس, ذو الأصل البربري, إلى شن حملة استعمارية ضد البارثيين, الشعوب القاطنة بالضفة الشرقية للإمبراطورية الرومانية , الواقعة على الحدود الغربية للأراضي الأسيوية. إذ شكلوا حاجزا جغرافيا و دفاعيا ضد وصول الرومان الى بلاد الصين. لتسقط في القرن الثالث ميلادي حدود هم على يد الجيش العسكري لسيبتميوس سيفيروس, فيتوج ذلك الإتتصار العظيم الذي لم يحققه أي امبراطور روماني من قبل , بتخليد ذكر تلك الهزومات على السكة في كل مقاطعات الإمبراطورية الرومانية. The Romans did not penetrate the countries of China, but their expansionist policy led Emperor Septimius Severus, of barbarian origin, to launch a colonial campaign against the Parthians, the peoples living on the eastern bank of the Roman Empire, located on the western borders of the Asian lands. They formed a geographical and defensive barrier for the arrival of the Romans to the country of China. In the third century AD, their borders were feled by the military army of Septimius Severus, and this great victory, which no Roman emperor had ever achieved before, was crowned by immortalizing the mention of those defeats on the coins in all the provinces of the Roman Empire.
