تاريخ مدينة دلس من خلال آثارها ومصادرها

الملخص
إن كتابة تاريخ المدن يعتمد أساسا على كتب الرحلات والمؤرخين، وعلى الآثار التي خلّفتها حضارات مختلفة على أرضها، وعلى مدى قرون عديدة. حيث تشكل لنا شهادات المؤرخين وعلماء الآثار أقوى مصدر لكتابة تاريخ المدينة أو المنطقة. وتعتبر مدينة دلس من أهم المدن التاريخية والأثرية على الساحل الجزائري، فهي تتمتع بموقع استراتيجي يتوسط شمال إفريقيا، أدى دورا كبيرا خلال الحقب التاريخية. حيث كانت مهدا للفينيقيين الذين جعلوها مركزا تجاريا آنذاك، ثم توالت عليها حضارات قديمة وإسلامية، زادت من شهرتها في الفترة الوسيطة والعثمانية. نحاول في هذه الورقة البحثية إبراز مكانة مدينة دلس من خلال الشواهد المادية التي تمتلكها كتراث مادي، كونها كانت مركزا هاما يتصل بمختلف المدن الساحلية والداخلية. فماهي تلك المكانة التي جعلتها تشتهر في المصادر والمؤلفات، وماهي كنوزها الأثرية التي ساهمت في كتابة تاريخها؟ إن مدينة دلس لا تزال تحتاج إلى دراسات وأبحاث ميدانية معمقة، وتظافر جهود الباحثين الجزائريين، لاستخراج ما هو مخبأ في طياتها، للمحافظة عليها من الزوال، ولا يطالها التخريب والتهميش. The history of towns and cities is written mainly by travellers and historians, and by the traces left by different civilisations on their territory over the centuries. The testimonies of historians and archaeologists are the most solid source for writing the history of a town or region. The town of Dellys is considered to be one of the most important historical and archaeological towns on the Algerian coast, thanks to its strategic location in the centre of North Africa, which has played a major role throughout history. As the cradle of the Phoenicians, who turned it into a commercial centre in their day, ancient and Islamic civilisations came here, enhancing its renown in medieval and Ottoman times. In this article, we will attempt to highlight the status of the town of Dellys through the material remains it contains as a material heritage, as it was an important centre linked to the various coastal and inland towns. What is the status that made it famous in sources, and what are the archaeological treasures that helped write its history?
