In this paper, the effect of double-glazingon the performance of a solar collector operating under the desetic climatic conditions of Adrarregionhas been investigated.Thisstudy based on a mathematical model obtained from the application of energy conservation lawsat different parts of the system and performed ina winter typical day on January1st,2015 in Adrar.To solve these systems of differential equations,the Finite DifferencesMethodwith an implicit schemeis used. The resultingmatrix systemis solved iteratively usingGaussSeidelalgorithm.A program written in FORTRANis developed for achieving the parametric study.This work aims to investigate the variation of temperature for eachcomponent of the system, thetemperature difference in terms of timeas well asthe effectof the gap space between the two glasscoversonthe collectorperformance
