المصريون والعنصرية فى اتحاد جنوب أفريقيا 1949-1958

الملخص
لم يحظ موضوع وضع الجالية المصرية تحت الحكم العنصرى فى اتحاد جنوب أفريقيا، على أهميته، بالاهتمام والدراسة لا من قريب ولا من بعيد. وتأتى أهمية هذا الموضوع من تتبع وزارة الخارجية المصرية ورصدها ورعايتها للجالية المصرية في تلك البقعة الموبوءة بداءِ العنصريةِ وتحيُنها لفرصةٍ مواتيةٍ لتصحيح وضع المصريين من الفروقات اللونية. وتأتى أهميته أيضا من ندرة الكتابات حوله، فلا يوجد في الكتابات العربية والأجنبية أيُ ذكرٍ لهذه المسألة لا من قريب ولا من بعيد. وبالتالي تأتي أهمية أرشيف وزارة الخارجية المصرية الذى يشكلُ قوامَ هذا البحث. وتحاول هذه الدراسة الإجابة على سؤالٍ رئيسٍ مفادُه، ما هو وضع المصريين من القوانين العنصرية في اتحاد جنوب أفريقيا في الفترة محل الدراسة، بمعنى، هل كانوا يُعاملون كالملونين أم كالأوروبيين؟ وما هو موقف الحكومة المصرية من ذلك؟ وما هى الظروف التاريخية لتغير الموقف منهم وذلك بين عهدي الملكية والجمهورية؟. The issue of the situation of the Egyptian community under racial rule in the South African Union did not receive attention and study either from near or far. The importance of this topic comes from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' tracking, monitoring and sponsorship of the Egyptian community in that spot infested with racism and its opportunity to correct the situation of Egyptians from color differences. Its importance also comes from the scarcity of writings about it, as there is no mention in Arabic and foreign writings of this issue either from near or far. The importance of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry archive, which is the basis of this research, is therefore important. This study attempts to answer a key question: What is the status of Egyptians from the racist laws of the South African Union in the period under study, in other words, were they treated like people of color or Europeans? What is the Egyptian government's position on this? What are the historical circumstances of the change in attitude between the Monarchy and the Republic?.
