Abstract

This research paper aims to shed light on the problem of energy transition and the practical path adopted internationally to embody it. And through an analytical reading in the language of the economic analysis, We reviewed the determinants of the general framework of the concept of energy transition as a point of convergence of the interests of people all over the globe. In addition, how different economies dealt with this multidimensional concept and the philosophy of the approach they adopted. Through a historical and a descriptive analytical approach and a deep scan for the subject literature, the study concluded that the institutions of the international community, even though they agreed on the concept of energy transition and defined the determinants of its general framework, However, they left the choice in terms of defining the type of the renewable resource it depends on. This opened the way for the competition and the search for the largest possible number of sources according to the geographical environment and the human resource of any economy. In contrast, the African oil economics approach remains of a high degree of ambiguity in light of the difficulty of replacing oil, the weak competition of its economic environment and the rate of human resource innovation in this field!
