الملخص
يتناول هذا المقال جزء من تاريخ منطقة بريكة من خلال تقرير فرنسي أعدته المصالح الإدارية لبلدية بريكة المختلطة سنة 1949م، وقد دأبت الإدارة الفرنسية من حين إلى أخر حسب الحاجة والظرف إلى إعداد مونوغرافيات (الدراسات الوصفية) حول مختلف مناطق الجزائر بغرض تسهيل المهمة لموظفيها وتعريفهم بتاريخ المنطقة التي ينشطون فيها، الهدف من نشر هذا المقال هو إبراز جانب من جوانب الكتابة التاريخية التي خلفتها الإدارة الاستعمارية، وما مدى مصداقيتها وعرضها للأحداث من خلال مقارنتها بنصوص تاريخية أخرى. ومن خلاله عالجنا عدة نقاط مهمة حول تاريخ منطقة بريكة في الفترة الحديثة، نشأتها وتسميتها ودورها في أحداث المقاومة الشعبية. Abstract: This article deals with part of the history of the Barika region through a French report prepared by the administrative interests of the mixed municipality of Braika in the year 1849. The French administration has been diligent from time to time, according to need and circumstance, to prepare monographs (descriptive studies) about the various regions of Algeria in order to facilitate the task for its employees and introduce them to the history of the region. In which they are active, the aim of publishing this article is to highlight an aspect of the historical writing used by the colonial administration, and the extent of its credibility and presentation of events by comparing it with other historical texts. Through it, we dealt with several important points about the history of the Barika region in the modern period, its origin, its name, and its role in the events of the popular resistance.
