الملخص
إن التعامل بالنقود الإلكترونية بدل النقود القانونية التي تصدرها البنوك المركزية قد أثر على قدرتها في تأدية وظيفتها الأساسية في الإصدار النقدي التي أنشئت من أجلها، لذا تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد طبيعة النقود الإلكترونية وآلية التعامل بها، وما مدى تأثيرها على وظيفة الإصدار النقدي للبنوك المركزية. بناء على ذلك توصلنا إلى أن تأثير النقود الالكترونية على المعروض النقدي يتوقف أساسا على مدى إنتشارها من جهة، والمدى الذي ستحل فيه محل النقود القانونية من جهة أخرى، والذي يختلف من بلد لآخر تناظرا مع التطور التكنولوجي والمعلوماتي لكل بلد. Dealing in electronic money instead of legal money issued by central banks has affected their ability to perform their core function in the cash issuance for which they were created, so this study aims to determine the nature of electronic money and the mechanism for dealing with it, and the extent of its impact on the monetary issuance function of central banks. Accordingly, we have found that the impact of electronic money on the money supply depends mainly on the extent of its spread on the one hand, and the extent to which it will replace legal money on the other, which varies from country to country in contrast with each country's technological and information development.
