Overconsumption Of Medicines: What Are The Factors? – The Case Of Algeria

Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to better understand the factors that lead to the excessive consumption of medicines. In order to determine the characteristics of the excessive consumption of drugs in Algeria, it was decided to conduct a quantitative study in a medical environment involving patients, pharmacists and doctors. It was found that the patient's health status and social security, which is granted to almost all Algerians, are particularly responsible for the high amount of drugs consumed.
