الملخص
يتناول المقال بالبحث مصير الداي حسين باشا، آخر دايات الجزائر، عقب تسليم الإيالة وتعرضه للنفي القسري إلى إيطاليا، ثم مباشرته من هناك مساعي حثيثة لأجل شرح قضيته للملك لويس فيليب، الذي تولى الحكم في فرنسا على إثر ثورة جويلية. ويحاول الموضوع رصد مراسلات الداي إلى البلاط الفرنسي، منذ رسالته الأولى المؤرخة في 09 أوت 1830م. ثم زيارته إلى باريس واستقباله هناك من قبل الملك نفسه، وما أحدثته هذه الزيارة من ضجة إعلامية وسياسية بين أوساط الفرنسيين في العاصمة باريس. ويحاول المقال أيضا تحليل ما أمكن من خطابات الداي وسياقاتها ضمن رسائله، بغية الوقوف على مطالبه الحقيقية، وردود الفعل الفرنسية منها، التي دفعت به إلى مغادرة إيطاليا واستقراره في مدينة الاسكندرية المصرية. فهذا المقال يكشف عن محاولات الداي حسين تحقيق تسوية سياسية لأزمة احتلال الجزائر، واستعادة دوره السياسي كحاكم للإيالة وفق شروط يرضاها الطرفان، معلقا آمالا عريضة على الملك الجديد لويس فيليب. وهو الأمر الذي لم يستطع تحقيقه أمام العراقيل التي جوبه بها من طرف وزراء الملك وحاشيته، ما اضطره للعودة إلى نابولي ومنها إلى مدينة الاسكندرية، والاستقرار بها إلى أن وافته المنية هناك، في سنة 1830م. It can be said that this article is the first historical study that details the merits of Day-Hussein's relationship with France after its occupation of Algeria, and about his visit to the French capital, Paris. this article studies the fate of Hussein Pasha, the last day in Algeria, after the fall of the regency of Algiers under French occupation, and the Day was exiled to Naples, Italy, and he undertook a number of efforts to explain his case to King Louis Philippe, who assumed power in France following a July revolution. The topic is trying to shed an analytical reading of the Die’s correspondence to the French court, and to reveal the reasons for his visit to Paris. By analyzing his speeches and contexts, and presenting reactions thereof, in the French popular and official circles, in order to identify the real demands of the Day. And searching for the reasons that led him to leave Italy and settle in the Egyptian city of Alexandria until his death. This article has exposed unremitting attempts by Husein Pacha to stop the French occupation and return to his position in governing Algeria, And his confrontation with major obstacles by some politicians and senior ministers in the governments of King Louis Philippe
