الملخص
يعتبر التسامح فضيلة أخلاقية، وقيمة للعدالة، ومطلب للرشد والعقل ويقوم علي مبادئ أخلاقية معينه ؛ تعتمد هذا المبادئ علي عدم انتهاك البعد الإنساني للآخرين، وان هذا المفهوم تتم ترجمته في صوره سلوكيات اجتماعية وعقلانية بغض النظر عن عواطف المرء ومزاجه الشخصي. والتسامح هو موقف من الآخر سواء كان إنساناً أو فكراً أو رأياً ، إنه الموقف الذي ينم عن سعة صدر واستعداد لفهم وتفهم الآخرين ، كما يعرف على أنه موقف فكري وعملي قوامه تقبل المواقف الفكرية والعملية التي تصدر عن الغير سواء كانت موافقة أو مخالفة لمواقفنا. والتسامح في بلد التسامح الإمارات العربية المتحدة التي ما فتئت تزاوج بين ترسيخ نهج التعايش والتسامح اجتماعيا وثقافيا وتشريعيا وبين القيام بمبادرات لخدمة هذا النهج على الصعيد الدولي ، ولأجل ذلك حاولنا البحث عن هذه القيمة في رواية الشيخ الأبيض الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمدالقاسمي الرجل المتسامح الجامع المناهض للظلامية والتعصّب.
