Gens de Mosta is a story of a moving town, who constantly changes his face, thuf creating sociolinguistic dynamic very representative of the social component of it’s inhabitants. In this article, we present examples of analyzes of urban transformations in Mostaganem’s town, and their relations with linguistic variations of its population, represented in the short stories of this book, by caracters in perpétuel placement, provinding to the town, a critical and passionnatly look from the inside or the outside.
