الملخص
The study aims to clarify the role of electronic banking in improving the quality of banking services, and analyzing the reality of using information and communication technology in bankas well as clarifying the types of electronic banking services provided and available, and their importance in ensuring distinguished banking services. We use a questionnaire tool and distribute it to a sample of banking agencies in Umm Al-Bouaghi, and analyze the results using the statistical program SPSS. The study find that the Algerian banking system has benefited from electronic banking operations, but yet electronic banking services are still slow and the means of payment are not diversified, and have not risen to the level reached in developed countries. And that there is awareness among bank employees of the importance of introducing electronic banking transactions because of their impact on performance, and their transformation into electronic banks that adopt the application of e-commerce.
