البعد الجيوستراتيجي في السياسة الخارجية الروسية تجاه النزاع السوري

الملخص
تهتم هذه الورقة بدراسة البعد الجيوستراتيجي باعتباره أحد دوافع انخراط روسيا في النزاع السوري، واستكشاف حدوده التفسيرية وموقعه على سلم أولويات السياسة الروسية في سورية، وهذا من خلال البحث في المنطلقات الفكرية والنظرية التي يستند إليها، ثم تفكيكه عن طريق دراسة أهمية سورية جيوستراتيجياً بالنسبة لروسيا، التي تعتبرها بوابتها من أجل العودة إلى الساحة الدولية كقوة كبرى ومنافسة الانفراد الأمريكي بقيادة العالم والمركزية الغربية برمتها، بالإضافة إلى نظرتها لسورية من زاوية أنها إحدى ساحات التنافس الدولي على خطوط أنابيب الغاز؛ حيث جعلت الجغرافية من سورية جسراً طبيعياً لنقل الغاز إلى أوربا، ففي حين يبحث الأوربيين ومن ورائهم أمريكا على التقليل من التبعية للغاز الروسي، تسعى روسيا إلى تكريس هيمنتها على الأسواق العالمية ولاسيما الأوربية وتنظر إلى المشاريع المنافسة لها على أنها تهديد لأمنها الطاقوي والقومي، كما أنها تريد أن تلعب دوراً مقرراً في رسم خريطة الغاز ضمن المشاريع المستقبلية في منطقة شرق المتوسط التي تحتوي كميات معتبرة من الغاز حسب الاكتشافات الأخيرة. This paper sets out to study the geostrategic dimension behind the Russian involvement in the Syrian Conflict and tends to explore its explanatory limits and position of the Russian foreign policy towards Syria. The study will be carried out through researching the intellectual and theoretical foundations on which the geostrategy is grounded and then dismantling it by studying Syria's geostrategic significance to Russia, as it considers it its door way to return to the international scene as a major power and compete with the American unilateralism. In addition, the paper tends to study the Russian vision towards Syria as an arena for international conflict about gas pipelines since the Levant bridges Asia with Europe. While Europe is seeking to reduce its dependency on the Russian gas, Russia seeks to establish its hegemony on international markets, especially European countries, and looks at the other competing projects related to gas as a threat to its energy and national security. Russia also wants to play a role in the future projects in the Eastern Mediterranean region, which is home to significant quantities of gas according to recent discoveries
