وعي العاملين في قطاع المكتبات والمراكز الثقافية بأهداف التنمية المستدامة 2030 وسبل تحقيقها Librarians’ And Cultural Centers’ Employees’awareness Of Sustainable Development 2030 Goals And Means Of Achievement

الملخص
هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مدى وعي العاملين في قطاع المكتبات والمراكز الثقافية في سلطنة عمان بأهداف التنمية المستدامة 2030 وسبل تحقيقها.اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الكمي باستخدام أداة الدراسة الاستبانة والتي وزعت أثناء عقد ورش تعريفية بأهداف التنمية المستدامة 2030؛ إذ تم توزيعها على المشاركين في الورش وعددهم (47) مشاركًا قبل وبعد إجراءها لقياس مدى وعيهم بأهداف التنمية المستدامة وسبل تحقيقها ومدى استعدادهم لتبني أدوار جديدة تسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج أهمها وجود وعي بمفهوم التنمية المستدامة من قبل العاملين في قطاع المكتبات والمراكز الثقافيةحتى قبل عقد الورشة، كما أظهرت النتائج أن 78,7% لم يكونوا على اطلاع بأهداف التنمية المستدامة؛ إلا أن 83% منهم رأوا أن للمكتبات دور بارز في تحقيقها قبل الورشة، وترسخت هذه القناعة بعد الورشة لتصل النسبة إلى 100%، كما أسهمت الورشة في رفع نسبة الاعتقاد بأن الأنشطة والبرامج التي تنفذها المكتبات هي الطريقة الأولى لمساهمتها في تحقيق الأهداف من وجهة نظر العاملين في قطاع المكتبات والمراكز الثقافية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك فإن 97,9% من العاملين في قطاع المكتبات أبدوا حاجتهم إلى دورات تدريبية تؤهلهم للقيام بالأدوار الجديدة للمساهمة في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة، وجميعهم – 100%- على استعداد تام لأداء مهامهم الحالية بطرق مبتكرة تسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة. وقد أوصت الدراسة بأن تتولى الجمعية العمانية للمكتبات تعزيز وعي العاملين في قطاع المكتبات والمراكز الثقافية بأهداف التنمية المستدامةوسُبل تحقيقها من خلال الدورات التدريبية والورش التعريفية، وتعريف المكتبات ببرنامج الدعم الدولي International Advocacy Program الذي تقدمه الإفلا والذي يهدف إلى رفع مستوى الوعي بأهداف التنمية المستدامة وتعزيز الدور الذي يمكن أن تؤديه المكتبات لتحقيق الأهداف. The study aims to find out the extent of awareness among librarians and cultural centers’ employees in the Sultanate of Oman of the sustainable development 2030 goals and means of achievement. The study uses quantitative methods where questionnaires were distributed during a sustainable development 2030 awareness raising workshop. The questionnaires were distributed to 47 participants before and after the workshop to measure the extent of their awareness of the sustainable development 2030 goals and means of achievement and their readiness to take new roles that contribute to its achievement. The study yields a number of results, one of which is the existence of awareness among employees of cultural centers and librarians of sustainable development even before the workshop. Even though 78.7% of the participants are not aware of the sustainable development goals, 83% believe that libraries play a great role in its achievement before the workshop and 100% after the workshop. Thus, the workshop has increased participants’ belief that the activities and programs executed by the libraries greatly contribute to the achievement of goals. Furthermore, 97.9% of the librarians express a need to attend training courses that will qualify them to perform new roles in the achievement of sustainable development; all participants are fully ready to play their roles creatively. The study recommends that the Omani Society for Libraries take the role of raising awareness of sustainable development goals and means of achievement among librarians and cultural centres’ employees through the organization of training sessions and awareness raising workshops and familiarizing libraries with the International Advocacy Program presented by IFLA.
