الملخص

تعرف المجتمعات منذ أمد بعيد العديد من الظواهر الاجتماعية التي من شأنها الإخلال بالأمن العام للمجتمع وبالتالي التأثير السلبي على استقراره ونموه وإعاقة عملية التنمية وفي مقدمة ذلك نجد ظاهرة الجريمة والانحراف، التي نالت بدورها اهتمام الدارسين والباحثين لارتباطها بالبناء الاجتماعي للمجتمع وأمنه، وبالحديث عن موضوع الأمن نجد أنه في العصر الحديث ارتبط بعدة مجالات حيث أصبح اليوم الحديث عما يعرف بالإعلام الأمني الذي يهتم بمتابعة قضايا الأمن في المجتمع ورصد تطوراتها، وانطلاقا من ذلك يهدف مقالنا للوقوف على الدور الذي يلعبه الإعلام الأمني كنوع إعلامي متخصص يعالج القضايا الأمنية التي تهم الفرد والمجتمع، خاصة تلك المتعلقة بالجريمة بمختلف أشكالها للوقاية والحد منها ومن أثارها المختلفة التي باتت تهدد أمن وسلامة المجتمع، فدور الإعلام الأمني اليوم أصبح مهما بالنظر إلى الانتشار المتنامي لقضايا الإجرام، مما يتطلب تظافر جهود مختلف المؤسسات الاجتماعية لمواجهتها، بما فيها المؤسسات الإعلامية والاتصالية من خلال ما تقدمه هذه الأخيرة من برامج مختلفة في المجال الأمني، سواء كانت مكتوبة أو سمعية بصرية وحتى الكترونية.
