الملخص

تعتمد الأفكار التي يتناولها الموضوع عموما على علم الوقف والابتداء الذي لقي عناية وأهمية منذ عهد النبوة إلى يومنا هذا، حيث أَلِّفت فيه مؤلفات جمّة تبينه وتفصّله خاصة وأنّه ارتبط بمعاني القرآن الكريم، و لمّا ارتبط هذا العلم بمعاني القرآن اختلف العلماء في أنواعه ومصطلحاته على مشارب عديدة، فمنهم من اختصرها في ثلاثة ومنهم من توسع فيها، ومنهم من وقف موقفا وسطا في ذلك، بل وذهب بعضهم إلى وضع رموز وعلامات في القرآن للدلالة على هذه الأنواع، ولترشد القارئ لكتاب الله تعالى إلى الوقف الصحيح الذي يقود إلى المعنى التام، ثم ما لبثت هذه الرموز والعلامات حتى تطورت وتعددت، وظهر أثر ذلك التطور جليا في المصاحف القرآنية على يد لجان، ومشايخ قائمين على تحقيق وضبط تلك المصاحف عبر التاريخ الإسلامي. Abstract Thoughts that the topic deals with rely generally on Stopping and Starting, which attracted the attention of scholars since the era of prophecy till nowdays. Many books were published dealing with it in details for it was linked with meaning of the Holy Quran. Since this field of sciece is related to meaning of the Holy Quran scholars did not agree upon its types or terms. Because each one looked at it from different perspective, so there were those who provided there terms, those who broadened it or those who put signs and symbols to show these kinds so as to guide the reciter to pause and stop correctly and lead him to understand the meaning thoroughly. Through the course of time these signs and symbols developed and varied and this evolution can be apparently seen in the Holy Quran books thanks to scholars and .commission members who are supervising and scrutinizing these Holy Quran books along the Islamic history
