Traitement Photocatalytique D’un Polluant Pharmaceutique Avec Le Dioxyde De Titane Immobilise

Authors : Chekir N .

Abstract

In order to treat wastewater, the new techniques are used in a lot of countries especially those which know shortage in water. Among these techniques, the most spread one is the heterogeneous photocatalysis. It includes the decomposition of organic compounds into water and carbon dioxide, leading to interesting properties of surfaces covered with photocatalyst. This project work aims to the degradation of persistent water’s pollutant which is “paracetamol”. This treatment is made throw a solar reactor fixed bed in presence of titanium dioxide with the use of two different light sources namely UV lamps for artificial radiation and the sun such as natural radiation. So that we compare efficiency of this two different light sources. The semi-conductor used is supported TiO2 on cellulose based paper (media 1048). The influence of some parameters was studied such as the initial concentration of pollutant and pH of solution.
