Introduction - The neurofibromatosis of Von Recklinghausen is an autosomal dominant disease, with an estimated incidence of 1/3000 births. Mediastinal localization (neurofibroma) is the second manifestation in order of frequency after chest deformities of cyphoscoliosis type. Observation - A patient aged 23 years was hospitalized for neurofibromatosis of Von Recklinghausen confirmed by clinical crireria, and associated with a mediastinal ganglioneuroma, a benign neurogic tumor, rare in adults. Imagery appreciates its extension and its osseous and vascular relations and predicted respiratory difficulties. Diagnosis was confirmed by histological study.
