الملخص
الملخص الإنجليزي: The researcher specialized in the Algerian ancient history especially and the history of the ancient Maghreb in general, is still suffering when dealing with the colonial historiography, because we inherited from the colonial period a set of researches in ancient history, and it is obvious that the interpretations of most of these researches- not all of them- inspired from the era in which they were written. So they included – as any production- the wheat and the chaff, even specialists recognize their documentary value, and that we are obliged to deal with them – and also with the new publications- in a critical spirit, but without tenses nor advanced exclusion, the aim- of course - is to transcend them scientifically in order to promote national research to a level of rigidity and objectivity, imposing itself on The scientific arena, and at the same time enriching the Arab corpus, thereby enriching the Arab reader little by little about theses colonial thesis. This article aims at reflecting on the creation of a general vision to rewrite the history of Algeria in the past, far away from any prejudices that prevailed during the colonial period. To attain this aim and write an integrated history, we have to take in consideration the internal impacts (local ones), and not only from external impacts as researches did in the past. It is also compulsory to reproduce the problematic and questions, transcending the stereotypes especially those related to the antiquity and the appearance of writing , the concept of space and time of ancient history, the origin of Algeria's old population, the origin of Neolithic civilization, the emergence of cities and other questions, and before all, we have to make pause to discover why are the Western historians in general -and French in particular- interested in the history of Algeria and their method in its study.
